About IS Guy

IS Guy / GRF Consulting came into existance March 1997. I am GRF Consulting, I am Guy R. Fillatre, CNE. As the Sole Proprietor of GRF Consulting, I do all levels of computer support & consulting on a evening & weekend basis. This web-site is mostly for the enjoyment of friends and family, and is maintained as a hobby.
: I beleive that I have come as close to a full circle in my computing career as anyone can come in 13 years. In 1992 I graduated from the Cabot Institute of Applied Arts and Technology (now known as College of the North Atlantic) with a diplima in Computer Studies MIS. Almost 10 years later, In December 2001, I returned to Newfoundland to work for the College of the North Atlantic as a Wide Area Network Adminisrator.
: I have spent almost six years living and working in the Toronto, Ontario before returning to Newfoundland. Some of the companies that I have worked for/with during that time are: Evron Computer Systems ; networkMCI Conferencing ; Bell Canada ; Darome Teleconferencing. I thank each of these companies for the knowledge and experience that I gained, for without this I could never have returned to Newfoundland.
